Margueda Bed & Breakfast - Alcains

Staying in a double room here was great! the Wi-Fi worked well, and the whole place was super clean. the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was spacious 🛁. Plus, the location was right in the heart of everything, so it was convenient to get around.

When I am in Alcains, I like staying here. The staff are helpful and sweet, everyone. The bus station is 15 minutes' walk.

The hotel was located near to the centre of Alcains and a quiet area. The position of the venue was marvellous, close to town center. Furthermore, it had easy access to Slipstream Sculpture. The staff turned out to be very very nice and helpful.

I stayed in a tidy room with a bedroom and an additional bed, along with access to a shared kitchen. the location was ideal and convenient - just a short walk to all the places I wanted to visit. 🚶‍♂️.

The setting is a beautifully renovated space with charming details. the twin room features an exceptionally comfortable bed, climate control, and convenient tea and coffee making facilities, along with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Plus, the location couldn't be better, just a few steps away from everything you need.

Margueda provided a lovely garden where I could relax, and the free WiFi kept me connected to my important social media updates. The a la carte breakfast was delightful and satisfied my picky taste buds. Castelo Branco was only a short 11 km away, making it convenient for my day trips.

Heard my neighbors a bit too much, but their bedtime whispers provided me with a soothing lullaby.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the extra bed for our daughter was already set up in the spacious room when we arrived. We were able to do an early check-in and store our luggage. The common kitchen was clean and well-stocked with all the basic necessities. The property felt safe and secure, with gated access and easy street parking nearby. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a must in the summer. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were nice additions. the place was very clean, and Teresa, the lovely host, was always smiling and ready to help. The locals were friendly, making our stay even more memorable. The location was close to the town center and just a short drive away from amazing restaurants in Castelo Branco. We can't wait to go back and bring our friends along. We would definitely stay at this amazing place again.

I had a wonderful stay at Margueda Bed & Breakfast in Alcains. Teresa, the lovely lady who runs the place, always had a smile on her face and was ready to help. the locals were friendly, and I even had a nice chat with a couple of neighbors. the location was amazing, close to the town center, and the place had a rustic charm that made it memorable. the wifi was good, and the air conditioning worked well. There were plenty of coffee shops nearby, so I was spoiled for choice. the proximity to Castelo Branco meant I could enjoy amazing restaurants. I can't wait to go back and bring some friends along.

great stay in alcains, margueda exceeded expectations. secure property with easy parking, comfortable rooms, and spacious shared kitchen. early check-in and accommodating host. overall, a fantastic experience during our drive to the lake.

Beds were incredibly comfortable, extra bed for our daughter magically appeared, spacious room, early check-in, fridge for groceries, spotless kitchen. Easy check-in, immaculate cleanliness, bike storage, complete kitchen, helpful and sweet staff. Secure property with easy street parking nearby. Adequate room size and large bathroom. Friendly locals and coffee shops close by. Can't wait to return and bring friends.

Modern spacious place with a good shower. Comfy beds and the option for an extra bed. Early check-in and the convenience of a communal kitchen with basic amenities. Minimal staff presence allowed for a relaxed atmosphere. Effective air conditioner and decent internet and TV channels.

The morning breakfast spread was absolutely delightful! I couldn't resist the freshly baked pastries that were as light and flaky as a butterfly's wings. Each bite was like a small burst of sunshine in my mouth.

Limited storage space.

The host was accommodating, un-fussy rooms, thoughtful details, well-functioning heating, kind staff, secure hotel.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Margueda in Alcains is my go-to place. I trust their service because they found and returned my forgotten shower bag. It has all I need - Wi-Fi, outdoor dining, TV, shared kitchen. Perfect and no regrets. Coming back for another city trip.
